History
Clinical Validation & International Deployment:
FrontlineODP™ achieves successful first-in-human Phase 1 clinical results, demonstrating a safety profile comparable to frozen plasma. The world’s first veliPod™ is deployed to France’s Armed Forces Blood Transfusion Centre (CTSA), marking a major step toward decentralized, sovereign production of dried plasma.
From Development to Global Scale:
FrontlineODP™ moves toward global deployment as military and civilian blood centres across North America, Europe and the Indo-Pacific adopt Velico® technology. Installed and contracted production capacity exceeds 100,000 units annually, while Velico® announces plans to expand manufacturing capacity to nearly one million units per year.
International Expansion & Deployable Production:
Velico® expands its Blood Center Education Program with leading US blood centres, including the American Red Cross. The company establishes its European Headquarters and showroom in Dublin, Ireland, and develops the first veliPod™, a deployable, self-contained production facility for decentralized spray-dried plasma manufacturing.
Strategic Partnerships & Blood Centre Validation:
Velico® launches its Blood Center Education Program with South Texas Blood & Tissue and is selected to support the UK Army and NHS Blood and Transplant’s £4.9 million Blood Far Forward programme, advancing sovereign dried plasma capability for military and future civilian use.
Clinical Development Accelerates: Velico® reacquires the spray dried plasma IP from Entegrion and initiates its Phase 1 escalating-dose safety clinical study. The programme advances FrontlineODP™ toward FDA Premarket Approval while supporting manufacturing scale-up, market readiness and future European regulatory applications.
