Frontline ODPTM
The FrontlineODP™ (On Demand Plasma) Manufacturing System turns liquid plasma into a spray dried powder in just over 30 minutes. The spray dried powdered plasma is easy to store, transport, and rehydrates when needed with just 200ml of sterile water.
The strength of FrontlineODP™ manufacturing system is its decentralized design and ability to scale quickly when needed.

Safety Trail Completed
Velcio recently completed a multicenter dose-escalation clinical trial which demonstrated that our FrontlineODP™ (On Demand Plasma) is both safe and retains potency comparable to PF24 starting material. No safety signals were identified by investigators, independent medical monitors, or the Data Monitoring Committee, and no thromboembolic events were observed.
In total, 66 spray dried plasma units were successfully manufactured and rehydrated with zero bag breakage, confirming reliable performance through the full process.
Manufacturing
To meet demand, Velico is finalizing plans for new production facilities dedicated to manufacturing FrontlineODP™ consumables for the European and Indo-Pacific markets. Each fully automated, world-class facility will manufacture up to 250,000 units annually.
Combined with two U.S. facilities, Velico’s total manufacturing capacity would support production of nearly one million units of spray dried plasma per year.
